The LRCA kitchen staff takes care of you every day by preparing your food and greeting you with a friendly face simply because of their call to servant hood. “I think people don’t realize how hard we work back here.” Lisa Walker says, a member of the middle school kitchen staff.
Lisa is a light who’s been serving LRCA since 2016. A wife of 22 years to Will Walker and a mom to two kids Thomas Walker, (10th), and Caroline Walker (7th). You can find her cooking, on the grill, or helping with the youth groups on Wednesday night. She lives by Ephesians 6:7:“Serve wholeheartedly as if you were serving the Lord, not people.” This verse is from someone who has the heart of servitude like Mrs. Lisa.
Across all of the LRCA kitchen staff, it’s full of hearts like Lisa’s, who love to serve and put others first. They do more than serve meals; they fuel the entire school day with breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Regardless if you forgot to order, they’ve provided backups at your convenience. They are LRCA’s hearts of servanthood.
